I think it is a great solution! Now the only thing that I wish I could figure out is how to get other peoples facebook updates to come to me via jabber/Gtalk. I'm not 100% sure that I want this level of interruption in my life, but It would be great if it was possible. <a href='http://identi.ca' rel="nofollow">Identi.ca</a> does this out of the box, and I've got twitter sending my IM's using <a>tweet.im</a> which was a bit scary as handing over the password to your twitter account to someone else is... well... dodgy. But I haven't had anything to worry about so far. I just started doing this. I think it is a great solution! I’m not 100% sure that I want this level of interruption in my life, but It would be great if it was possible.
