Last Tuesday I went to pasar malam here in Putrajaya. I LOVE grocery shopping! Looking at the seafood that night oh wow – the fish were all fresh, the squids, shrimps, crabs etc. They smell like they had just been brought in from the sea. Last time when I was living with Adda and Siti, our house was near the beach. So you can imagine how excited I was everytime we went to the pasar after work. There were 3 of us so we bought alot for a week. Now I’m only buying for myself – no fun. And I found myself actually like to cook. I enjoy planning my meals everyday.

So I made that caramel pudding again today, without accidents this time, thankfully.

Had eaten it halfway when I took the pic. Sweeeeeet sweeet thing. The pic didn't do justice, I should've use white plate to bring up the colors.

I took a panadol today and feel asleep right away. Loooong and deeeep sleep. Woke up at 5! Kinda late to do anything for the day so I just made myself some snacks and wash my clothes and sweep the floor. So now I feel like going to bed early for a change. I’m still reading Band of Brothers. Lots of spelling mistakes but what a book. I’m drawn by the individual experience during WWII, not just talking politics of winning the war. The series was great but the book offers so much deeper insight of what happened. Like LOTR, if you’ve read the book, you’ll understand the movie much better.

Next in line should be my borrowed pilates book and again Cecilia Ahern’s Thanks for the Memories. You know I never noticed the book stall in Street Mall of Cyberjaya. The books are new and really cheap. I got 2 books for RM50 that day. If it was a normal bookstore it would’ve cost me around RM70. That stall has all the new books I see on New Arrival shelf in MPH.

And I finished reading The Child Called It by David Pelzer. If it didn’t state that it’s a memorial/non-fiction book, I would’ve thought it was fiction, how brave of the author to put such gruesome details to sell the book. But yea it is a memorial and I was stunned at the end how on earth did he make it alive. Inspiring piece, I must say.

Come to think about it, I haven’t registered the books on bookcrossing.com yet! Alright. Toodles you blog readers – read a book.

This is exciting —–> Malaysia’s premier Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) event. Adda, you should come. Siti, you too if your not in Brunei. Adda, bring Ajeed, safewrap him and dump in the car if you have too. So many people who I think should go. I’ll email this people later.

Anyways, I have so much stuff to say here but maybe later (or not). This is only a filler I guess.

In the mean time, I need a pair of sexy heels. The one I have is going to be an old hag soon, kesian but stuff ages so what can I do. Don’t think I don’t love my shoes old and new. It’s just that my car has run out of space. Yea I keep my shoes in my car, easier since I travel between Klang-Putrajaya-Cyberjaya alot. Sometimes it just helps alot when it’s available anytime when you want it. I think it’s going to be a habit of mine so I don’t have to spend 10 min everyday to figure out which one to wear….

Anyway, I so like my new shoes – haven’t received them yet but already saw the pics. The lady of the store Ziwei is such a nice and helpful person, I recommend her to everyone who wants to buy shoes. Oooh the shoes… georgous I love I love I love!

Chic! I love the glitters. She’s so generous with this one. So pretty laa ~~~~ Was so tempted to put in my online alter ego but one has to be realistic in this world to make it through the day so I put my name instead. Nice touch there Ziwei.

Goodness I’m in love. Not sure why I had not started any affairs with them so much earlier. Quelle belle! J’aime de belles chaussures. Mon amie Adda, you should be expecting something like this.

I have been under this strict program “Ke arah balance sifar!” or at least “Ke arah balance kurang daripada 1000!”… So far I was excelling and moving fast towards the goal but yesterday was such a program ruiner. I couldn’t stand looking at those pretty pretty bags ok. Tergoda.

Actually the purpose I went to the mall was to buy stuff for my brothers – their baju raya (don’t be surprised – it’s been a habit in the family to get everything done early and avoid the crowd later) and a gift for Mueh for getting 4.0 CGPA recently (my brothers are all brighter than I am, whom I’m so proud of). The sales signs were everywhere I couldn’t leave without snatching a thing or two for myself. In the end I got three….heheheh…. I had item number 4 in mind but my mind told me to stop. A little bit of control would do me good in the long run right.

I loved what I felt walking through the mall. You know in a way I’m thankful Adda is not my roommate anymore hahahah or she would have morphed me into this psychotic shopper. Tambah2 lagi now that she owns that plastik keras too… ;P

Well that’s what you get when you’re staying with 2 AF fans, people. Every night is AF night. Every friday, don’t you dare change the channels because there’s Diari AF Extended. And on saturdays, let’s watch the Diari marathon! Adehhh…. jadi AF freak lak aku hahaahaha….

Anyways, all the more reason to get that broadband installed in the house. Takleh punggah tiap2 malam melayan tv – mak boring tgk siaran medium bahasa melayu ari2 nyah… (lalalala)…. cukup2 la sokongan padu kepada rancangan terbitan tempatan dan negara jiran selama 3 bulan ini. Aku berazam untuk membuka langkah menjejaki semula naluri keenglishan yang semakin malap ini, yeah! Tidak kuizinkan untuk ia pupus sama sekali, yeah!!

Eh apsal duit gaji lesap cam pelesit nih? Mana pegi??

Tgh boring2 I selak2 gambar lama in my laptop. Terkenang-kenang memori dulu ala-ala citer madu tiga.

Haaa… baru hilang sket boringggg….

Oh yes, I’ll mention one news though: the house I’m staying, it has no phone cable. Isn’t that funny. When you take out that white cover thing and you’ll discover a blank hole there, nothing of communication value available there. Isk! Penat aku register line tepon. Ni nak kena tarik wiring lain and it’ll cost me a good RM150! Giler ape. Hmmpphh!!! Tak tau ape nak buat. In the mean time, I’m so restless having nothing to do at night.

Those of you who have never seen a batu giling before – I recommend you to get out more. And those leaves are henna. I don’t get people putting in nasi la, serbuk cili la, serbuk kari la, serba serbi nak masuk to get it red. Just use the leaves la it will do all the work for you – but have to make sure you get them from the right kind of pokok. Only pokok yang bunganya putih are going to look good on your fingers – trust me.

Cheese biscuits are never my thing – yak! Berminyak and masin. I don’t mean I don’t eat anything with minyak in it, I just don’t like the oily feeling on my fingers afterwards. The hassle of wiping it off everytime. Letih lah (I’m such a drama kan? hahahahah!). Peanut butter pun, I’m not crazy about it. One spread on a slice boleh la, itu pun a thin spread. But anyway, when you combine these 2 together – giler sedap ok!

This is a very magical beras to me. From experience, if you leave the cooked rice overnight and forget about it till noon the next day, a good chance that nasi is basi already. But not when it’s Beras Faiza Emas! – free advertisement sini aaaa… but really, this beras giler bagus. Last night’s nasi still good the next night – I’m telling you it’s impossible but I saw it happened. And I don’t mean put it in a container and shove it in the fridge. Leave it there out in the open, not even in an air tight container, I’m impressed. Bagus aaa brand Faiza ni.

One more thing. Beras Ponni Faiza is the greatest beras ever. Mahal skit la tapi sedap.

Back to the title of this post. Dah ending baru nak kupas topic. But anyway, you know I’m just wondering. I’m a developer but unlike so many others I’m helpless at blogging about the techie stuff. Maybe Adda has the answer.

Oooh I just got my business/call cards, whatever you want to call it. And it’s ugly (lalalalalala) – tu la I don’t know why they don’t want to hire a designer.
